Join faith leaders, community leaders and residents united in prayer for the city of Syracuse from 11:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 28, at the entrance to lower Onondaga Park, 655 W. Onondaga St. 

“The Cross & The Lynching Tree" by James H. Cone will be the book under discussion for the ACTS “Race Matters” Book Club during March.  ACTS welcomes all readers to meet 7 p.m. March 30, at Hopps Memorial CME Church, 1110 S. State St. Parking lot is accessible by entrance off Burt Street. 

This interactive experience will educate guests on anthropogenic climate change and actions that can be taken to preserve our Earth. Attendees will travel to the year 3020 and explore artifacts that were left behind from the year 2020.

The focus of this conference is on how to expand access to culturally sensitive and affirming health care for transgender and gender expansive individuals. The barriers within the medical system itself and how they affect the experiences gender diverse folks have when attempting to access care will be examined. Additionally, topics to be discussed include but are not limited to: Providing Hormone Replacement therapy; supporting whole families during a child's transition; transgender legal rights and protections; trauma informed care, and more.

Join the Syracuse Poster Project for the unveiling of the 2020 poster series. The event brings together poets, artists and friends of public art to celebrate the new series. The evening will include art, poetry, music, appetizers and beverages.

Donations will be collected by May's staff in a drive-thru, drop-off service in front of the building. Supplies will go to PEACE INC Food Bank.

Stop by to see a hypothetical transformation of a post-community grid neighborhood, re-imagining a current void in Syracuse's urban fabric as a walk-able community. This new community would stitch together the city's downtown, Near Eastside, Hawley-Green and University Hill neighborhoods.

The location of this Syracuse University Architecture thesis project is the neighborhood between State Street and University Avenue, and between East Genesee Street and I-690.

Urban Video Project will host a video launch of an artist talk with award-winning filmmaker Doireann O'Malley. The talk will be available to viewers online at 9 a.m. EST Saturday, May 16. This event is presented concurrently with UVP's online exhibition "Prototypes."
