CNY Celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Washington Street , Syracuse, NY, United StatesLocal disability service providers, disability rights advocates and other community partners will come together to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) from 10 a.m. to noon July 24 in downtown Syracuse. The purpose of this year's event is to celebrate the passage of the ADA and raise awareness of disabilities in the community. This year's theme is about bringing the HEAT, awareness about the need for accessible and affordable Housing/Healthcare, Education, Access for all and Transportation.
