SCORE Syracuse and Onondaga Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are teaming up with Google to provide two workshops designed to help small businesses better reach customers online. Google speaker Randi Penfil will present on how customers find businesses online and how to promote one’s online presence using search engine optimization (SEO) and online advertising. Attendees will also learn how to create or claim one’s Google My Business listing, manage business information across Google Search and Maps, use Google My Business to connect with potential customers and create a free website. Talk to a lawyer for free on the second and fourth Thursday of the month in the CNY Meeting Room on the library's third level. Volunteer lawyers will answer your questions on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early and sign in as space is limited.

Planned Parenthood educator Mallory will distribute brochures, fact sheets and give-aways, answer questions and talk to teens one-on-one about family planning, sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, minors’ rights and much more. All materials include information about where to access low-cost reproductive health care. If appropriate, referrals will be made to partner agencies for additional service needs. A Health Fair, hosted by LaToya Jones, HEP CNY healthcare advocate with Shades of Inspiration Inc., will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Dunbar Center.

A Tenant Teach-In  offering a discussion on tenants rights will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturdays, March 16, and April 13, in the Beauchamp Branch Library auditorium.
