Join the library for a bi-monthly hour of performances and share your creativity with the MakerSpace community. At the open mic you can share your music, videos, poetry, dance, etc. Come to either watch or perform. Library staff will provide a laptop, PA speakers and a projector. For ages 16 and up. Students of all ages -- dancers, rappers, poets, band members, comedians, cheer and dance teams and more -- invited to compete in Syracuse Got Talent contest featuring music by DJ BibBoi. Planned Parenthood educator Mallory will distribute brochures, fact sheets and give-a-ways, answer questions and talk to teens one-on-one about family planning, sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, minors’ rights and much more. All materials include information about where to access low-cost reproductive health care. If appropriate, referrals will be made to partner agencies for additional service needs. Office hours are held in the library's TeenSpace, Level 1.
