Join the Syracuse Urban Food Forest for a community conversation around foraging at the Salt City Community Room. Design and print your own greeting cards using handset metal type and print your cards on hand-operated antique platen press during this workshop. Take home 12 cards in a lovely box. The Q Center at ACR Health will host a virtual vigil providing support and understanding for Anti-Transgender violence exhibited in 2021. This virtual vigil will serve the nine-county service areas which include Onondaga, Cayuga, Oswego, Oneida, Madison, Herkimer, Jefferson, St. Lawrence and Lewis. The Mary Nelson Youth Center will hold its annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway at 1 p.m. Nov. 22.

The Mary Nelson Youth/Resource Center will hold a Grand Re-0pening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 23. The community is welcome to stop in and tour the newly remodeled resource center. Food and beverages will be served. The center will reopen to the public on Nov. 29.
