Morehouse College Glee Club will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Bethany Baptist Church, 149 Beattie St. Founded in 1911, the Glee Club has a long tradition of significant public appearances, including Martin Luther King Jr.'s funeral, President Jimmy Carter's inauguration, Super Bowl XXVIII and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. This local performance is offered with support from 100 Black Men of Syracuse, Syracuse University, CNY Arts and the Rotary Club of Syracuse. Reach Customers with Google Workshop

SCORE Syracuse and Onondaga Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are teaming up with Google to provide two workshops designed to help small businesses better reach customers online. Google speaker Randi Penfil will present on how customers find businesses online and how to promote one’s online presence using search engine optimization (SEO) and online advertising. Attendees will also learn how to create or claim one’s Google My Business listing, manage business information across Google Search and Maps, use Google My Business to connect with potential customers and create a free website. Planned Parenthood educator Mallory will distribute brochures, fact sheets and give-aways, answer questions and talk to teens one-on-one about family planning, sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, minors’ rights and much more. All materials include information about where to access low-cost reproductive health care. If appropriate, referrals will be made to partner agencies for additional service needs.
