School Supply Drive

Students are finishing out the school year at home. To help parents and teachers, Sen. Rachel May is reaching out to community members to donate school supplies from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, at 333 E. Washington St., Syracuse 13202

Please drop off new items only, NO BOOK BAGS.

Donations will be collected by May's staff in a drive-thru, drop-off service in front of the building. Supplies will go to PEACE INC Food Bank.

15th Ward North: An Online Public Forum

Stop by to see a hypothetical transformation of a post-community grid neighborhood, re-imagining a current void in Syracuse's urban fabric as a walk-able community. This new community would stitch together the city's downtown, Near Eastside, Hawley-Green and University Hill neighborhoods.

The location of this Syracuse University Architecture thesis project is the neighborhood between State Street and University Avenue, and between East Genesee Street and I-690.

Urban Video Project will host a video launch of an artist talk with award-winning filmmaker Doireann O'Malley. The talk will be available to viewers online at 9 a.m. EST Saturday, May 16. This event is presented concurrently with UVP's online exhibition "Prototypes."
