The next meeting of the South Side Tomorrow's Neighborhoods Today will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 6, at the South Side Innovation Center. The meeting's agenda will include hearing issues for city departments, updates from Paul Mercurio on future projects for the South Side and City of Syracuse by DPW, news on a New York State campaign on youth gambling, update on TNT facilitators progress and more.

ACTS Spring Banquet will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at Drumlins Country Club, 800 Nottingham Road. The banquet is being held to raise funds needed to continue the Alliance for Communities Transforming Syracuse social justice efforts. The Syracuse Poster Project will host the Annual Poster Series Unveiling at the Atrium at City Hall Commons in downtown Syracuse. Meet this year's contributing poets and artists, enter a raffle to win artwork and locally donated gifts and enjoy refreshments and music.

The Cora A. Thomas Gospel Extravaganza will be held Sunday, April 19, at Bethany Baptist Church. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the event starts at 4:30 p.m. The concert will welcome Fred Hammond, a solo artist and founder of the pioneering urban group, Commissioned. Hammond has sold over 8 million albums and he has frequently been on the top of Billboard's Gospel Charts.
