Learn about free resources available in Onondaga County to help young families get a healthy start. From prenatal care to breastfeeding support and finding day care to other needs like applying for public assistance, SNAP or health insurance. Representatives from Healthy Start will be on hand to answer your questions and provide key information. No registration necessary. For teens and adults. Meets on Level 1.

Planned Parenthood educator Mallory will distribute brochures, fact sheets and give-a-ways, answer questions and talk to teens one-on-one about family planning, sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, minors’ rights and much more. All materials include information about where to access low-cost reproductive health care. If appropriate, referrals will be made to partner agencies for additional service needs. Office hours are held in the library's TeenSpace, Level 1.
This trio will perform Christmas and traditional music using 54 handbells. The audience will also be treated to information about the music, the bells and bell ringing. Light refreshments will be served.
Explore the choreography and culture of West African Dance with professional artist and choreographer, Biboti Ouikahilo, founder of Wacheva Dance Center. Walk-ins are welcome. Intended for teens and adults. Meets in the auditorium.
The Board of Christian Education Children Ministry will sponsor a Breakfast With Santa fro 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Hopps Memorial CME Church. Santa will arrive at 10:30 a.m. Children 11 and younger are free; children 12 years and older are $5. For tickets, call (315) 478-0191.
"The Muppets Christmas Carol" will screen at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. The film is a retelling of the classic Dickens tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, miser extraordinaire. He is held accountable for his dastardly ways during night-time visitations by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and future.
