A city-wide Halloween celebration will be held at various city venues to provide save and fun options for local youth. Festivities will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. and this is a nut-free event where all candy will be nut-free. Event sites include: Barnabas Center, Boys & Girls Club-East, Delaware School, Dr. King School, Edward Smith Elementary School, Franklin School, Northeast Community Center, McKinely Brighton School and Southwest Community Center. Writing Our Lives 2015 Youth Writers Conference

The Writing Our Lives 2015 Youth Writers Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Danforth Middle School.
