Dedication of Cecile Memorial Plaza
Cecile Community Center 174 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY, United StatesThe Memorial Plaza at the Cecile Community Center, 174 W. Seneca Turnpike, will be formally dedicated in a ceremony from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 15. The ceremony will recognize those who have placed engraved bricks in the plaza as a remembrance, tribute or memorial. The ceremony will permit those in attendance to express their support for the Valley neighborhood. Light refreshments will be served. The plaza is a project of the Meachem Area Parks Association, a not-for-profit corporation with tax-exempt status, with support from TNT 4 – Valley and the Central New York Community Foundation. Placement of engraved bricks is a continuing process as bricks are ordered from the Association.
