"I Hear America Singing" is the final concert of the season for the Syracuse Children's Chorus.  It is the culmination of all the year of hard work and features all of the SCC ensembles as well as our City Satellite Singers and some special guest collaborators.

Community Discussion on I-81

Community Folk Art Center 805 E Genesee St., Syracuse

The New York Civil Liberties Union will host a community discussion - "The Viaduct Must Come Down: The Fight to Restore Racial Justice ad Equity in I-81's Replacement" - beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Community Folk Art Center. Panelists will include Jay Arzu, a transportation equity research fellow for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation; Lanessa Chaplin, I-81 Project Counsel with the NYCLU; Dr. Lemir Teron, SUNY ESF environmental studies professor, and Andrew Croom, staff attorney with Legal Services of CNY. The evening will open with a networking mixer and conclude with a town hall discussion after the panel members speak.
