The Onondaga County Department of Adult and Long Term Care Services, Office for Aging will offer a free Parkinson’s Presentation by Dr. Dragos Mihaila, Neurologist with Upstate Medical University, at 6 p.m. July 23 at The Hearth at Greenpoint. The presentation, which is open to the public, will be on Deep Brain Stimulation, a surgical procedure used to treat a variety of disabling neurological symptoms, most commonly those of Parkinson’s disease, such as: Tremor, Rigidity, Stiffness, Fatigue, Slowed Movement, Walking Problems.
