The world of reading comes alive with this fun and educational program that will bring you face-to-face with exciting zoo animals. Get hands-on with the zoo’s one-of-a-kind animal artifacts, ask a professional zoo educator your animal questions and learn how you can make a difference to wildlife.

A class on Planning & Starting Your New Business will be offered by Syracuse SCORE Chapter 98 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Tuesday, July 23, at the East Side Business Center, 1201 E. Fayette St.  Cost is $75, which includes lunch. Veterans are free courtesy of a grant from M&T Bank and parking is free for all attendees. The class will provide a step by step process to go through to evaluate if one is ready and what is needed to start on the road to business ownership.  Topics include business plan, marketing, feasibility plan, financial matters and projections.
