Brain Fitness: Fact vs. Fiction

This two-part course will provide an overview of the research that exists on Alzheimer's, pointing out both the most promising findings and the current limitations of our knowledge. During the second session, the Onondaga Health Department will have an opportunity to practice some of the strategies that appear to help people maintain or strengthen their cognitive abilities. This free class is for those who currently care for older, or disabled persons, or may become caregivers in the future. Topics will include outreach for VITA free tax preparation services and expanding the coalition's financial education activities.
