The Eastside Community Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Bethany Baptist Church. The festival will include a kids zone, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a community church kickoff, live music and more. Meeting of the Minds: Minority Business Networking Event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Nikao Eventz & Catering, 128 Burnet Ave. Cost to attend is $10.
