Visioning Voices Community Speaker Series and Workshop

South Side Innovation Center 2610 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY, United States

Come learn about growing healthy neighborhoods in your city. The Brighton Neighborhood in Syracuse’s South Side will serve as host to welcome all to learn how environment affects a community's quality of life, and what residents can do to improve all neighborhoods. Come together to enjoy a free dinner and presentations by Isella Ramirez and Casey Wang of Hester Street Collaborative as they share their experience in creating more equitable, sustainable and vibrant neighborhoods where community voices can lead the way in improving their environments. Attend the activities that best suit you. From 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. a walking tour will be offered, starting from the SSIC. From 4 to 5:30 p.m. a presentation and discussion with the guest speakers will be held followed by dinner at 6 p.m. A workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. will close the evening.
