Talk to a lawyer for free on the second and fourth Thursday of the month in the CNY Meeting Room on the library's third level. Volunteer lawyers will answer your questions on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early and sign in as space is limited.

Planned Parenthood Office Hours

Planned Parenthood educator Mallory will distribute brochures, fact sheets and give-aways, answer questions and talk to teens one-on-one about family planning, sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, minors’ rights and much more. All materials include information about where to access low-cost reproductive health care. If appropriate, referrals will be made to partner agencies for additional service needs. Meets in Central Library's TeenSpace, Level 1.

Knitting Club for Kids

Community Co-Design Workshop with Trauma Response

The city's Community Co-Design Workshop with Trauma Response will begin at 5:3 p.m. Wednesday, March 20,  Boys and Girls Club on Shonnard Street. The City has partnered with the Trauma Response Team and Zivics, a local startup company, to develop an app which will support families that have experienced traumatic and emergency events.Join for the co-design workshop and to help develop this new tool. Food and kids’ activities will be provided.

Maple Day at Corcoran High School

Celebrate maple season at Corcoran High School and help support the Corcoran Honor Society at a pancake breakfast. Visitors can take a walk in a sugarbush and learn about tapping trees and boiling syrup from CCE Onondaga forestry staff. Maple syrup event is free.
