The Onondaga Citizen League will hold its next meeting of the OCL study, How CNY Moves, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, in the SUNY Oswego Metro Center at 100 South Salina Street (the Atrium office building on Clinton Square) in Room 129. Coffee, tea, water and sweets will be provided. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch. The group will review the work of Maxwell School students, who are working on their MPA Capstone project exploring some best practices and model programs in transportation systems. The group will also explore some of the latest trends in land use and transportation planning in other communities. In addition, Megan Costa, assistant director of Onondaga County Planning, will talk about how planning works at different levels of local government, and discuss land use, demographics, and transportation and mobility considerations in planning.
