Join the Central New York Community Foundation for a virtual update on the community's recent work to raise and distribute vital funding in Central New York to support nonprofit organizations working with those who are disproportionately impacted by economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. This virtual gathering will include a short presentation and time for our speakers to answer your questions, which may be submitted in advance. Discussion points will include: What has been done so far and what has been learned; perspectives on the current environment for nonprofits and residents; next steps and emerging trends, and how you can help. The Syracuse Chapter of the NAACP will hold a mask, gloves and hand sanitizer giveaway from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 6, at three locations in Syracuse: The Dunbar Center, 1453 S. State St.; The Northeast Community Center, 716 Hawley Ave., and The Spanish Action League, 700 Oswego St.
The event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, while supplies last.
