ACR Health, a nonprofit organization serving nine counties in Central New York, offers a range of support services for people with chronic diseases, including HIV/Aids, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, substance use disorders and mental illness. Representatives will be on hand to assist people with chronic disease in securing housing, testing and treatment. No registration required.

Learn about free cancer screening services available through the Onondaga County Health Department. Men and women without health insurance can obtain free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screenings and diagnostic services through the county’s Cancer Services Program.

Find out and discuss what you can do in order to protect yourself in case of a zombie outbreak. This entertaining program will focus on the following topics: Basic zombie survival techniques; combat weapons; survival vehicles, and common mistakes, myths and generally bad ideas about zombies. Need help with your legal problems? Talk to a lawyer for free on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Volunteer lawyers will answer your questions on a first come, first served basis. This program takes place at Central’s third-floor CNY Community Room.
