It’s simple, fun and anyone can do it. Creative Rhythms drum events inspire and strengthen a sense of community, courage and confidence through various facilitated rhythm modules. Creative Rhythms is a wellness program designed by Sandra Sabene/Certified DC Facilitator and expressive arts instructor offering inspiration to communities along the east coast since 2007. Planned Parenthood educator Mallory will distribute brochures, fact sheets and give-a-ways, answer questions and talk to teens one-on-one about family planning, sexual health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, minors' rights and much more. All materials include information about where to access low-cost reproductive health care. If appropriate, referrals will be made to partner agencies for additional service needs. JAMS (Joined Artists, Musicians & Singers) 6th annual Musicians’ Cookout will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Long Branch Park in Liverpool. Tickets are $12.50 and parking is free.
