The Fatherhood program will offer a movie night for dads and their children at 6 p.m. Monday, May 18, at the Southwest Community Center. All dads strongly encouraged to attend. There will be pizza, popcorn and the movie "Big Hero 6."
Celebration Luncheon for Onondaga County Seniors will be held at noon Thursday, May 21, at the CNY Regional Market “F” Shed, 2100 Park St. There is no charge for age 60+; a $2.75 suggested donation is requested. The 2015 Creekfloat will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 6, starting at Armory Square in downtown. This floating art parade is free to attend and takes place on Onondaga Creek each year. Artists create floating artwork and send them through Armory Square in front of hundreds of spectators. Volunteers are also sought to retrieve the floats from the Creek when done and kayakers to help move the floats along.
