 The New York State Preparedness Course is a free program designed to prepare citizens for all types of disasters. Initiated by the Governor and supported by the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services and the Office of Emergency Management, the program is intended to give citizens the education needed to be able to take care of themselves and their neighbors in case of a crisis. Syracuse Salt of the Earth Ministries will conclude the 2019 Global Ambassador's Summit "A National Gathering for Global Impact" Saturday, Sept. 28, with an international worship concert beginning at 7 p.m. Music will be performed by Davie Kitandwe, Rickey Montgomery Jr. and Victor Olayeni.  A $5 donation is asked.
