Community Discussion on I-81

The New York Civil Liberties Union will host a community discussion - "The Viaduct Must Come Down: The Fight to Restore Racial Justice ad Equity in I-81's Replacement" - beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Community Folk Art Center. Panelists will include Jay Arzu, a transportation equity research fellow for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation; Lanessa Chaplin, I-81 Project Counsel with the NYCLU; Dr. Lemir Teron, SUNY ESF environmental studies professor, and Andrew Croom, staff attorney with Legal Services of CNY. The evening will open with a networking mixer and conclude with a town hall discussion after the panel members speak.
