In honor of Black History Month, Paine will screen the film "42," the inspiring story of Jackie Robinson, the first African-American to play for a Major League baseball team. Snacks provided. Seating will be available, but interested attendees are encouraged to bring a comfy blanket and/or bean bag to better enjoy the film.
The next Southside TNT meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Danforth Magnet Middle School, 309 W. Brighton Ave. Lanessa Chaplin with the New York Civil Liberties Union will be providing an update regarding the I-81 project.
