HEAP Outreach

Representatives from the Onondaga County Office for Aging will host a series of outreach events to assist seniors with applying for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). HEAP provides limited subsidies for heating and utility costs. Sites and times may change; call (315) 435-2362 to verify.

Career and Technical Education Expo

PSLA at Fowler High School 227 Magnolia St., Syracuse

On Jan. 23 and 24, the Syracuse City School District will host the fifth annual Career and Technical Education Expo. All SCSD eighth-grade students will attend, where they will be able to experience firsthand all of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs provided by the district. The CTE Expo will be open to parents, community members and business/ higher education partners from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24. The Expo will be held at PSLA at Fowler High School in the school gymnasium.
