Get a head start on celebrating the New Year at Betts Branch Library. We’re counting down to noon, with snacks, face painting and other fun activities. It’s a perfect way for children to celebrate the New Year.

"The Incredibles 2" will screen at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29.

Kwanzaa Collective by Cafe Sankofa will sponsor a celebration to uplift the community. From 3 to 6 p.m. Day 4 Ujamaa: Cooperative Economics will be celebrated.
