Duck Race to End Racism

Duck Race to End Racism will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Syracuse Inner Harbor. This free event will feature family entertainment, free ice cream from Byrne Dairy and for the third year, Terra MakerHall will return to provide fun science and technology activities for children. There will also be a video booth and roving reporters thanks to Syracuse Stories.

Introduction to Collective Housing

Beauchamp Branch Library 2111 S. Salina St., Syracuse

During this session, attendees will learn about the full range of housing choices - between owning a single-family house to renting. Also discussed: cooperative housing, condos, land trust and shared housing models. The purpose of this session to to help residents consider the full range of housing choices before making a decision and additionally to learn about financing, home inspections and legal issues.
