The Kwanzaa Village CommUnity garden is in need of 40-50 community members' assistance Saturday, June 2, to finish and create beds, assist with sheet mulching and wood chips, creating a pathway with slab stone, assemble and install arbors(3), create landscape beds, install flowers and mulch. Youth participation is encouraged. The garden and green space is located at 920 Midland Ave. and the corner of Furman.
