AARP Tax Preparers are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment only to help residents prepare a tax return for free. Clients must bring last year’s tax return, a valid picture ID, social security cards or official documentation for all listed on return, all W-2 and 1099 forms, and check book if direct deposit is wanted. The ReZone Syracuse Project team will hold an interactive public meeting at Corcoran High School at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the cafeteria. The meeting will include a brief presentation and then reveal the new Draft Zoning Map and discuss how this will positively influence neighborhoods. Presenters will focus the mapping discussion on the southwestern quadrant of the city, so neighborhood residents and property and business owners in this quadrant are encouraged to attend.

Within the context of the civil rights, Black power and feminist movements, the trio reassess how women such as Rosa Parks and Fannie Lou Hamer revolutionized American society.
