The Elks Lodge #1104 will host a bone marrow drive from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11, as part of its annual family day in honor of 2-year old Baby King, who was born with CD40, a hereditary immune deficiency that without a bone marrow transplant will become fatal. Annually, 12,000 individuals with blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, sickle cell and other life-threatening illnesses are looking for a bone marrow donor match to save their lives.
