Dedication of Cecile Memorial Plaza

Cecile Community Center 174 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse

The Memorial Plaza at the Cecile Community Center, 174 W. Seneca Turnpike, will be formally dedicated in a ceremony from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 15. The ceremony will recognize those who have placed engraved bricks in the plaza as a remembrance, tribute or memorial. The ceremony will permit those in attendance to express their support for the Valley neighborhood. Light refreshments will be served. The plaza is a project of the Meachem Area Parks Association, a not-for-profit corporation with tax-exempt status, with support from TNT 4 – Valley and the Central New York Community Foundation. Placement of engraved bricks is a continuing process as bricks are ordered from the Association.
