Urban Jobs Task Force Rally for Jobs

The Urban Jobs Task Force is working to get a new city law passed promoting local hiring when the city contracts for more than $100,000 on construction, service and  Public Works projects. The draft law is called a Resident Employment Ordinance. The group will hold a Rally for Jobs starting at 11: 30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at City Hall Steps.
