The COVID-19 Pandemic and Global Africa

The Pan African Community of Central New York (PACCNY) will hold a Zoom Celebration for African Liberation Day – “The COVID-19 Pandemic and Global Africa” — from 1 to 3 p.m. May 29.
This year’s celebration will include the following presenters:
• Dr. Ridhwaan Suliman, statistician, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Pretoria, South Africa
• Dr. Samuel Fosu Gyasi, Department of Basic and Applied Biology, University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana.
• Dr. Sharon Brangman, Department Chair of Geriatrics, SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY
• Professor Micere Mugo, poet, playwright and spoken word
