Sires’ Sunday

Syracuse Housing Authority (SHA) has partnered with Jubilee Homes of Syracuse to present “Sires’ Sunday.” The event celebrating fatherhood will serve as the kick-off for Jubilee Homes’ annual Southwest Showcase Sundays’ concert series. The Sires’ Sunday festivities will be held at the Spirit of Jubilee Park, located on the 100 block of South Ave. The date and time is Fathers’ Day from 1  to 7 p.m. June 21.

As is customary, the event will be family friendly and will feature fun for the whole family including: kids’ activities like bounce houses, face painting, popcorn and slushies. Free hot-dogs and hamburgers will be provided for the kids.

Live entertainment will be provided by two of Syracuse’s top local bands, including Michael and Anjela Lynn and the Talented Ones and Brownskin Band. SHA and Jubilee Homes along with other participating organizations encourage fathers to bring the children out for a day of bonding and fun.
