The Black Artist Collective (BAC) will host a Say Their Names Memorial from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. The event will honor and uplift the names of Black and Brown lives lost to racism, injustice and senseless police violence in Syracuse. Organizers will “say their names,” celebrate their lives and come together in a mindset of collective consciousness for organizing, healing and justice. The free outdoor event takes place on the Bethany Baptist Church grounds at 149 Beattie St. in Syracuse.
