Prostate Cancer Screening

Free prostate cancer screenings and more will be offered by Crouse Hospital from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at AMP Urology, 1226 E Water St.; free parking is available. Prostate cancer screening appointments for men are requested, and can be made with Jason Warchal by phone, 433-5645 or email, jason.warchal@cancer.org.  Not requiring reservations are free heart health screenings available to adult men and women through the Crouse HeartCaring program, and colorectal cancer screenings for adults aged 50-64 who are without health insurance provided by the Onondaga County Cancer Services Program.  Also, the American Cancer Society will offer cancer prevention and smoking cessation education, as well as local health resources.
