Passport to Health: India
September 17, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
FreeCrouse Hospital’s Spirit of Women program continues its journey to good health with an Indian-themed getaway from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Drumlins Country Club. This latest Passport to Health event provides a relaxed setting that encourages women to care for their wellbeing, with this program being held during Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month. A feature of the evening is a presentation led by Mary Cunningham, MD, Crouse GYN oncology surgeon. She will explain the latest information related to GYN cancer prevention, detection and treatment, followed by a question and answer session. The event also includes authentic Indian food, music and dance, and guests can also enjoy henna tattoos, yoga and meditation instruction and a fun photo booth. The event is free, but pre-registration is required and can be made by calling (315) 472-2464 or visiting crouse.org/passport.
