I-81 Viaduct Project Public Virtual Hearing

On Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. and again at 5 p.m., the project team will hold two virtual public hearings on the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the I–81 Viaduct Project, a document that discloses the social, economic and environmental effects of the project’s alternatives.

The DEIS can be downloaded on the project website, dot.ny.gov/i81opportunities.

Individuals may submit comments on the DEIS until 5 p.m., Sept. 14, 2021. Responses to substantive comments will be included in the Final Environmental Impact Statement.
