I-81 Impact on the Southern Tier

Session will discuss the direct impact I-81 will have on the South Side neighborhoods, the Valley and the Outer Comstock neighborhood. Residents invited to hear the pros and the cons of the remaining options and how each relates to this area’s present and future businesses, residents and overall quality of life.

Panelists  will include:

• Peter Sarver, convener of Moving People Transportation Coalition

• Bill Simmons, executive director of Syracuse Housing Authority

• Lemir Teron, assistant professor at SUNY ESF, Environmental Justice
