COVID-19 Community Support Virtual Update

Join the Central New York Community Foundation for a virtual update on the community’s recent work to raise and distribute vital funding in Central New York to support nonprofit organizations working with those who are disproportionately impacted by economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. This virtual gathering will include a short presentation and time for our speakers to answer your questions, which may be submitted in advance. Discussion points will include: What has been done so far and what has been learned; perspectives on the current environment for nonprofits and residents; next steps and emerging trends, and how you can help. Presenters are: Peter Dunn, president & CEO of CNYCF; Frank Ridzi, VP of community investment at CNYCF; Nan Eaton, president at United Way of Central New York, and Sharon Owens, Deputy Mayor of Syracuse. To submit a question: send in by June 2 to dharper@cnycf.org  (note if your question is for a specific speaker). Questions may also be submitted during the presentation and will be addressed if time permits.
