The October Issue will be out in less than a week, and now the staff is busy preparing for our next public workshop — Behind the Scenes of The Stand — to be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 8, at the South Side Communication Center, 2331 S. Salina St.

This session will provide attendees with a unique view of the publication because we’ll go behind the scenes by hearing form reporters about what went into developing and composing a story for the October print issue.
