Le Moyne College MLK Celebration

Mario Powell, S.J., the sixth president of Brooklyn Jesuit Prep, will serve as keynote speaker at the 2022 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation, which will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 4 p.m. The event will be held in Grewen Auditorium or virtually; if attending virtually, register at lemoyne.edu/mlk

Father Powell will speak on the theme “Love for Community.” A respected and accomplished educator, Father Powell is the former director of the REACH Program at Regis High School in Manhattan. He has drawn joy and meaning from his work in both secondary and middle-school settings within the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus.
