Youth Development Training Program

Hope for US Housing is offering a free carpentry training workshop for young men and women in the Syracuse area. An open house orientation will be offered from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Hope for US Housing Corp. Open to youth ages 12 to 17. The program offers youth in the community a chance to work hands-on with dedicated mentors. This is a six-week program where youth will learn the basics of the carpentry trade, as well as life skills needed to be successful in the workforce.
