Bone Marrow Drive for Baby King

The Elks Lodge #1104 will host a bone marrow drive from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11, as part of its annual family day in honor of 2-year old Baby King, who was born with CD40, a hereditary immune deficiency that without a bone marrow transplant will become fatal.  The most likely match is someone of your same race.  There is currently no match for Baby King on the Be the Match Registry.  Annually, 12,000 individuals with blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, sickle cell and other life-threatening illnesses are looking for a bone marrow donor match to save their lives. For more information, contact Paula Miller with The William G.
