The Media Unit team will throw the group’s executive producer of 43 years Walt Shepperd a retirement party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at the Palace Theatre. The party will be hosted by local musician, city councilor and Media Unit alum Joe Driscoll. Additional alums will perform and share memories of their time working with Shepperd. Tickets are a suggested $15 donation, which will include hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar available.
