“The People’s Champ” screening will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Museum of Science and Technology, 500 S. Franklin St. in downtown Syracuse. This new independent film by local director Shamroc Dancil captures the essence of day-to-day life of an inspiring Boxer “The Punisher” Martez Potter who fights his way through the rough inner city of Syracuse. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online here for at total of $13.50 with the processing fees.
