NYS DOT Open House On I-81 Project

State transportation officials will hold an open house on June 18 to discuss plans to tear down a portion of Interstate 81 and reroute highway traffic around the eastern edge of the city. The open house will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Oncenter. People will be able to talk with various state officials and representatives about multiple aspects of the project — from traffic flow to real estate information to construction. There will be a formal presentation at 6 p.m.
