The Stand offered two Photography Workshops this month.
This sessions were taught by Jeffrey Chapman, a freelance cultural, humanitarian and world photographer.
He currently works as an advocate for refugees at the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees in Utica and is interested in the human experience and treasures cultural diversity.
He has volunteered his time to teach with The Stand this month. In his photography, he is dedicated to visually communicating stories of hope and dignity of those without voices loud enough to tell their own stories. To see samples of his work, visit his Web site here.
Sessions were held in the South Side Innovation Center, 2610 S. Salina St., Syracuse.
All are welcome to attend at no cost. Attendees will receive a free T-shirt and pencil. No registration is required; if you have a digital camera, please bring it.
